This humungous Philadelphia Flyers division championship banner hung from the rafters at the Spectrum for many years. Banner features two of the most important division winning seasons in Flyers history. The first is 1967-68 which was the first division championship in team history. The other season represented on the banner is 1973-74, a year in which the Flyers defeated the Boston Bruins 4-2 in a best of 7 series to become the first team from the 1967 expansion to win the Stanley Cup. Banner measures approximately 7 1/2 x 11 1/2 feet. The Spectrum stood for over 40 years before it was demolished for good in May of 2011.
