The 1935 Chicago Cubs finished the regular season with a record of 100-54 to win their 14th National League pennant. They then lost to Detroit in six games in the World Series. 27 members of the Cubs signed this official Spalding National League Baseball during Spring Training that season including Hall of Famers Gabby Hartnett, Billy Herman and Chuck Klein. Note: The baseball, which was shellacked years ago, includes three clubhouse signatures of Charlie Root, Augie Galan and Lon Warneke. All signatures are dark and clearly legible.
