The 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card is one of the most desirable baseball cards in the history of card collecting. Along with the T206 Honus Wagner, the 1952 Mantle is also one of the most recognizable cards (even outside the hobby!). When walking around card shows, everybody stops at the table to gaze at the 1952 Mantle through the glass case. While most higher PSA graded examples are out of the reach of most collectors, the offered card can likely be had without taking the necessary second mortgage on your home. Graded by PSA as GOOD 2 (MK), this card is very well centered with good color, four evenly rounded corners, moderate print throughout, several scratches and a crease in the upper right corner. The MK designation is due to several period pencil marks (which have since faded and are virtually imperceptible) along the top edge and below the name in the signature box. The reverse is clean and also well centered. This is an excellent opportunity to own the most treasured prize in baseball card collection, owning a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle rookie card. Winning this card and opening the Fed Ex box after receipt, will be similar in excitement to pulling the Mantle rookie out of a pack back in late summer 1952. Don’t you want to feel that excitement again? Graded by PSA GOOD 2 (MK).
