Houston Astros ace Mike Scott wore this cream-colored Astros road pullover jersey during the 1988 MLB season. Scott, the 1986 National League Cy Young winner, finished the season with a 14-8 record and 2.92 ERA. The former Pepperdine standout added eight complete games and five shutouts while maintaining a WHIP under one (0.983). The 33-year old Scott struck out 190 batters in 218.2 innings for the 82-80 Astros as he continued to ride the success of his darting splitter.

This cream-colored jersey has “Astros” sewn across the chest in navy and white tackle twill. A navy and white tackle twill star is sewn below “Astros”. “SCOTT” is sewn across the back shoulders in navy tackle twill over a matching cream nameplate, while Scott’s number “33” is sewn on the back of the jersey in navy and white tackle twill. Red, orange, navy, and yellow stripes are present on each sleeve and shoulder. A Rawlings size “44” and a “2 Inch Extra Length” tags are sewn inside the front left tail. A “Set 1 1988” flag is attached to the Rawlings tag. Scott has signed the chest of the jersey in blue marker. The jersey comes with a LOA from MEARS for the game use, plus a COA from JSA (CC16973) and a MLB Authenticated hologram (TD00066381) for Scott’s signature.
