Babe Ruth began his New York Yankee career in 1920, and offered is one of the first cards issued of the Babe while in a Yankee cap and uniform. There were two W519 sets issued, the first which is numbered and the second is unnumbered. This Ruth example has bold color, four very evenly rounded corners and some light bleeding on the reverse. There is a light horizontal crease which cuts across Ruth’s face, but his does not severely affect the image of the smiling Ruth. Overall, this is a very attractive card, one which portrays him early in his Yankee career. PSA Graded AUTHENTIC.
