Imhoff grabbed 9.5 rebounds per game, the second highest figure on the Sixers behind the Hall of Famer Billy Cunningham. Imhoff, a 1967 NBA All-Star with the Lakers, was a member of the gold medal-winning 1960 United States Olympic Basketball Team and the third overall pick of the 1960 NBA Draft by the New York Knicks. In 2011, Imhoff was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the 1960 Olympic team.
