Kirby Puckett was perhaps the most Popular Minnesota Twin player ever, and one of the most loved players of the modern era. Sadly, we lost him far too soon. We present a rookie era game used helmet. "Manufactured by the American Baseball Cap Company, this Minnesota Twins batting helmet was used during the 1984-86 era by the Minnesota Twins. Style can be verified via wire photos showing the two color batting helmet with the interlocking TC crest logo. We were able to examine a 1986 dated image of a game worn batting helmet that did not include the dyno tape on the reverse. This may help date this helmet more closely to the 1984-85 era. Examination reveals that both the "34" on front brim and "Puckett" dyno tape are vintage original to the helmet. Helmet exhibits heavy game wear, evenly distributed on the inner and outer area of the helmet. The inner foam padding is present, but now loose.
