By 2005 first baseman Albert Pujols was considered the best Cardinal since Stan Musial. To some that might seem a big pair of shoes to fill but Pujols more than did so - batting .330 with 41 home runs and 117 RBI. This un-cracked Old Hickory JL18 was made game ready for Pujols during for the 2005 season. Pujols' number "5" is written on the knob and top barrel in black marker and Pujols has signed his name in black marker on the barrel, inscribing “5”. Please note that there is slight streaking from the wood grain on parts of Pujols’s signature. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B13868) for the game ready status and a LOA from JSA (Y06072) for his signature.
