Tampa Bay Rays third baseman Evan Longoria wore this white Rays home jersey against the New York Yankees on May 19th, 2017 at Tropicana Field. Longoria powered the Rays to victory with a 4-5 performance in Tampa Bay’s 5-4 win, made possible through Longoria’s tie-breaking RBI single in the bottom of the eighth against Tyler Clippard. Longoria added a double and a stolen base while scoring two runs for the victorious home team. Longoria was named the American League Gold Glove recipient at third base in 2017. Longoria slashed .261/20/86 as he continued to pad his lead on the Rays all-time home runs, RBI, runs, and doubles leaderboards.
