Typically when describing a completely graded set we must make mention of the cards graded MINT however with this 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set a whopping 72 of the 80 cards needed for a complete set have been graded MINT 9 by PSA including the short printed #68 Ted Signs. Of the eight cards not graded MINT 9 are the following: One card, #35, has been graded MINT 9 (oc) and is just barely too far off center to get a straight grade. One card, #21, has been graded NM-MT+ 8.5. The remaining six cards have all been graded NM-MT 8 and are as follows: #1, #2 Ted's Idol (Babe Ruth), #16, #17, #40, and #80. This set represents what is already a very high-end 1959 Fleer Ted Williams set and needs very few upgrades to be MINT 9 start to finish. The SMR values this set in excess of $11,000.
