In celebration of the Super Bowl’s Silver Anniversary in 1991, the NFL and Riddell produced this limited edition run of silver football helmets. This helmet is full sized, with a gray facemask and no chinstrap. The interior ear padding remains in the helmet, however no other padding is present. A Super Bowl XXV logo is applied to each side of the helmet. The New York Giants won Super Bowl XXV, defeating the Buffalo Bills in a 20-19 game defined by Whitney Houston’s Star Spangled Banner performance and Scott Norwood’s tragic “Wide Right”. This helmet shows minor wear and is a limited edition 2,216 of 2,500 and comes with a NFL COA.
