2009 was a big year for St. Louis Cardinals’ catcher Yadier Molina as made his first All-Star team and finished the season with a solid batting average of .293, while adding six home runs and 54 RBI. Molina earned the Gold Glove Award and used this Marucci YM4 Custom Cut-M model bat during the 2009 season. This bat displays outstanding game use and is un-cracked. The barrel has a cupped end and has numerous ball marks, stitch impressions, blue ink transfers and white leather scuffs. Also, on the barrel are cleat imprints and there is a moderate coating of pine tar on the handle. The knob has the date of manufacture “6/03/09”, Molina’s number “4” and the length/weight “3.5” and “1.0”. A wonderful game used bat from one of baseball’s all-time great catchers and it comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B14881) for the game use and has been graded a perfect GU 10.
