Offered in this lot are 24 baseball magazines and yearbooks from the 1950’s and 1960’s. The first item in this lot is the first issue of Sports Illustrated, with Eddie Mathews on the front cover. This issue, from August 16th, 1954, shows a white ring and black mark on the cover. It is in fair condition. The second item is a “Mickey Mantle” magazine. This magazine is in fair condition, although damage to the back cover is present. Also included in this lot is an official 1951 Cleveland Indians sketch book, a 1958 Yankees yearbook, a 1959 Yankees yearbook (with the front and back cover detached), a 1959 Dodgers yearbook, a 1959 Washington Senators yearbook, a 1960 Giants yearbook, a 1960 Orioles yearbook, a 1960 Dodgers yearbook, a 1961 Chicago White Sox yearbook, a 1961 Phillies yearbook, a 1962 Yankees yearbook, a 1963 Yankees yearbook, a 1963 All-Star Game program, a 1963 Kansas City Athletics yearbook, a 1964 Milwaukee Braves yearbook, a 1964 Los Angeles Angels yearbook, a 1964 Yankees yearbook, a 1965 Senators yearbook, a 1965 Yankees yearbook, a 1966 Orioles yearbook, a 1966 Mets yearbook, and a 1966 Yankees yearbook. These team yearbooks are by and large in good condition.
