Hall of Famer George Brett was putting the icing on his Hall of Fame career when he was using this Louisville Slugger. 1992 saw the Kansas City Royals’ slugger hitting his way into the 3,000 Hit Club, the final trophy in a career that saw him becoming the only player in history to win a batting title in three different decades. Used in Brett’s final two seasons of 1992 and 1993, this Louisville Slugger B351 model bat exhibits outstanding use with a slight handle crack. There are numerous ball marks, blue ink transfers, blue bat rack streaks and slight checking or grain swelling from repeated ball contact on the barrel. As you want on a genuine George Brett gamer, a heavy coat of pine tar is found on the upper handle and his famous number “5” is written on the barrel end in blue marker. Brett has signed the barrel in black marker. This bat comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (1B16671), who have graded this bat a near-perfect GU 9.5 for the game use and a COA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (G38035) for the signature.
