Presented in this lot is a collection of seven bats signed and inscribed to Terry Pendleton by members of the National Baseball Hall of Fame. The first bat, a Rawlings Adirondack Big Stick bat, has been signed in black marker and inscribed “Terry, Best Wishes!” by the Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg. Written on the knob of this bat is “23”, while “23 256B” is written on the end of the bat. The second bat, a black Louisville Slugger C243 model bat, has been signed in silver marker by Kirby Puckett. Puckett inscribed “To Terry P / You’re the best! Your Buddy, Kirby Puckett #34”. “Team 34” is written on the knob of the bat in silver marker. The third bat, a Louisville Slugger C235 model bat, has been signed in black marker by Ozzie Smith. Smith inscribed “To Terry / Good Luck [and] Best Wishes To A Great Player And Friend!” Smith’s number “1” is written on both ends of this bat in black marker. The fourth bat is a Louisville Slugger P72 model bat signed by Cal Ripken Jr. in red marker. Ripken inscribed “Terry: Continuous success to a great player” in addition to his signature. Fifth is a Cooper Pro 100 model bat signed in silver marker by Dave Winfield. Winfield has inscribed “To Terry All the Best” and “’92’” in addition to his signature.

The sixth bat in this lot is a Louisville Slugger T141 model bat signed by Rickey Henderson in silver marker. The all-time stolen bases leader inscribed “T. T. Pendleton / may Gold Bless you always”. The final bat, a Louisville Slugger L159 model bat, has been signed in gold marker by Barry Larkin. Larkin inscribed “To Terry, Congratulations on a Tremendous ’91 Campaign [and] Continued Success!” Pendleton was the 1991 National League Most Valuable Player and batting champion. Each bat in this lot comes with a COA from Beckett Authentication Services (G38103 through G38109).
