Burleigh Grimes was a (5) time 20-game winner that was elected into the baseball Hall of Fame in 1964. Here is a letter written in 1978 stating that Grimes would like to subscribe to "Baseball Quarterly" for one year. A check for $4.95 is made out to Baseball Quarterly and is dated the same day as the letter, October 1, 1978. Signatures have been pre-certified by PSA/DNA but it was determined that the letter was written by somebody else and then signed by Grimes afterwards. The check appears to be written by someone else and signed by Grimes as well.
