Branch Rickey, the longtime General Manager of the Brooklyn/Los Angeles Dodgers, signed this official National League “Notice to Player or Release or Transfer” document on April 2, 1947. It was calling for the transfer of infielder Robert Ramazzotti to the St. Paul Club of the American Association League. This as signed less then two weeks before another major player move in the Dodgers organization made history for baseball as well as the man behind it, Branch Rickey. We, of course, refer to the April 15, 1947 debut of Jackie Robinson. The item comes with LOA from PSA/DNA.
