JULY 19TH AUCTION
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 7/20/2013
The 1986 Pittsburgh Pirates were not a competitive team as they finished dead last in the NL East standings. But this official Rawlings National League Charles S. Feeney baseball is significant because it holds 23 signatures from that year’s team including rookie Barry Bonds, who made his MLB debut on May 30th and veteran Lee Mazzilli, who the Pirates released on July 23rd but who was picked up by the eventual World Series Champion New York Mets 10 days later. The other signature of note is from Manager Jim Leyland on the Sweet Spot. Item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA.
