The offered size 7 3/8 American Baseball Cap royal blue New York Mets batting helmet was produced in December of 1992 and worn by Eddie Murray during the 1993 season. The helmet displays nice even use and has Murray’s name in blue Dymo tape on the back by the ABC and MLB stickers and also on the visor. Murray has signed the visor in silver paint pen and the signature comes with a full Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA. Murray joined Hank Aaron and Willie Mays as just the third member in the 500 Home Run & 3,000 Hit club on September 6th, 1996 and was a first ballot inductee into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2003. Murray, Aaron and Mays were joined by Rafael Palmeiro in their exclusive club on July 15th 2005.
