Seattle SuperSonics Hall of Fame guard Gary “The Glove” Payton was issued this red Sonics jersey during the 1999-2000 NBA season. The Oakland native made his fifth All-Star Team in 1999-2000, scoring a career-high 24.2 points per game while adding 8.9 assists and 6.5 rebounds per contest. Payton made both the All-NBA First Team and the All-Defensive First Team in 1999-2000 in recognition of his tenacious play on both ends of the floor. Payton played in the NBA through the 2006-07 NBA season, and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.

This red Seattle SuperSonics jersey features “SONICS” sewn on the chest in white and yellow tackle twill over Payton’s number “20”, sewn on the jersey in white, yellow, and green tackle twill. “PAYTON” and a second “20” are sewn on the back of the jersey in white, yellow, and green tackle twill. A Sonics tag with an attached “1999-2000” flag and a Champion size “44” tag with a “+3 Length” are sewn on the front left tail. This jersey comes with a LOA from 100% Authentic for the game issue.
