One of the best rivalries in sports, the “Red River Rivalry” rarely disappoints when the Sooners and Longhorns get together. This lot features two game-worn helmets, one from each of these schools. The Texas helmet features a #97 sticker on the backside and a lineman facemask. The Oklahoma Riddell helmet features the facemask of a lineman or possibly a linebacker. While we cannot pinpoint the exact players to wear these helmets, it is certain that they were used often as they are pounded and show heavy, heavy use.
