The companion to the much more accessible Red Backs set; the Blue Backs do not have as many big name stars as the Red Back set. But what they lack in star power, the Blue Backs make up for in scarcity. These are much tougher to locate than their Red brethren, and complete sets are difficult to find. This is a very clean set, with good eye appeal with technical factors like minor wrinkles and roll marks on the reverse keeping the technical grade lower. Includes: 1 Yost (EX/MT), 3 Ashburn (EX/MT), 5 Pesky (EX), 6 Schoendienst (EX/MT), 9 Sain (EX/MT), 10 Page (NM), 20 Branca (EX/MT), 30 Slaughter (EX), 37 Doerr (EX), 39 Lopat (EX), 50 Mize (EX/MT) and 52 Chapman (NM). Grades EX to NM overall, with a couple lesser.
