The 1992 Olympics saw perhaps the greatest Basketball team ever assembled. The USA's The Dream Team defeated the rest of the worlds' finest by an average of 44 points per game. All participants at the Barcelona games would have received one of these 70mm medals. The obverse features 4 lines of text above a stylized athlete jumping over the Olympic rings. The reverse shows a spiral over a bolt of lightning. The medal comes in the original red velvet slip pouch.
