The older brother, Vince DiMaggio, got into professional baseball first, in 1932 with the Tucson Lizards of the Class-D Arizona–Texas League, hitting .347 with 25 homers and 81 RBI. He broke into the Majors with the Boston Bees (later the Braves) of the National League in the 1936 season. The middle brother, Joe DiMaggio, broke in later in the 1936 season with the New York Yankees in the American League. Youngest brother Dom made his Major League Baseball debut with Boston Red Sox in 1940.

The three DiMaggio brothers were stars, but middle-brother Joe got the most attention. While Vince was a two-time MLB All-Star, and Dom a seven-time All-Star, it was Joe who was elected into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. Joe is widely considered one of the greatest baseball players of all time and is perhaps best known for his 56-game hitting streak (May 15–July 16, 1941), a record that still stands. A three-time Most Valuable Player Award winner and an All-Star in each of his 13 seasons, “Joe D.” was a key part of the Yankees clubs that won 10 American League pennants and nine World Series championships.

Presented are the signatures of the three DiMaggio brothers on a Rawlings baseball. The “Yankee Clipper” has signed his name in black ink on the sweet spot, while older brother Vince has signed his name in black ink above the sweet spot and younger brother Dom has signed his name below the sweet spot – reflecting their birth order! This ball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
