Minnesota Twins Joe Mauer used this navy batting helmet during the 2014 and 2015 seasons. This size 7 5/8 Rawlings S100 Pro Comp style navy helmet displays heavy game use. There are small paint chips on the outer brim, while the outer shell displays numerous scuff marks and abrasions. This helmet features the Twins “TC” logo decal in affixed to the front of the helmet. The right ear has an ear flap and Mauer’s number “7” is affixed to the back of the helmet in red and white, along with the MLB logo. The all-black interior padding is still intact with the Rawlings and MLB Authentic labels sewn on in opposite sides. This helmet comes with an MLB Authenticated hologram (HZ317762), which dates this helmet to the August 22nd, 2014 game against the Detroit Tigers and the April 13th, 2015 game against the Kansas City Royals.
