Offered is a Mickey Mantle autographed baseball, on which the legendary New York Yankees slugger has signed “Mickey Charles Mantle” in blue ink across the center of the Official American League Bobby Brown baseball to the left of the stamped blue Rawlings logo. Mantle played his entire Major League Baseball career with the New York Yankees as a centerfield and first baseman from 1951 through 1968. Renowned as one of the best players and sluggers, he is regarded by many as the greatest switch hitter in baseball history. Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY in 1974. This item is accompanied by a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
