Tim Duncan was one of the most dominant big men in college basketball history and he continued on with this success in the NBA, helping San Antonio Spurs win four NBA titles. Duncan is a four-time NBA champion, two-time NBA MVP, three-time NBA Finals MVP, and NBA Rookie of the Year. He is a 14-time NBA All-Star. But before his pro accolades, Duncan starred at Wake Forest. This black road jersey is trimmed in gold with "WAKE FOREST" on the front sandwiched around Duncan's number "21." The reverse also has the number "21." All lettering is applied with fabric paint in a white/gold combination. The lower tail has the "Champions 48" size tag and the separate "Designed & Tailored Exclusively for Wake forest University by Champion 1994" tag. Both are stitched on the lower left front. The numbers on the reverse exhibit some areas of cracking, and the jersey shows tremendous wear. The black shorts have the "Champion size 40" label in the waist with Duncan's number "21" written in black marker on this tag. The "WF" insignia is on the left side with "DEMON DEACONS" in a gold band on the bottom right leg, and this item also shows light to moderate wear. The Wake Forest Yearbook is named "The Howler" and has a multitude of photos of Duncan in the basketball section. The fly page is inscribed (not by Duncan) "Here is my yearbook and Tim's basketball outfit - I tried to get his shoes too - but....No LUCK. Enjoy! Kate." This trio of items, including a very scarce College Road jersey are a tremendous collection of items from one of the best players to ever play the game of basketball. LOA from MEARS, graded A-10. IMPORTANT NOTE: This uniform was erroneously initially graded A-5 due to lack of provenance provided. It does come with a notarized LOA of provenance, as well as the signed yearbook from the original recipient of the uniform. MEARS has graded the uniform an A-10 .
