After four years of very sparse Major League activity, Daryl Strawberry settled in with New York Yankees in 1996 making significant contributions to the team's first championship season in 18-years including a monster ALCS vs. Baltimore in which he hit three home runs with five RBI and a .417 average in 12 at-bats. Strawberry signed this Mizuno N11 blank-barreled bat in bold silver Sharpie on the barrel near a barrage of white leather ball scuffs and blue ink ball marks. He must have been making pretty good contact evidenced by the grain swelling and separation on the barrel. The bat contains trace amounts of pine tar and model number N11 is stamped into the knob which is also affixed with PSA/DNA sticker #U69438 for the signature, while PSA/DNA sticker #1B05231 is attached at the top of the barrel for the bat which also comes with PSA/DNA letter of authenticity with GU 8.5 grading.
