The majestic Ty Cobb red portrait appears even grander with this Polar Bear reverse. Issued only in packs of loose tobacco pouches, these Polar Bear’s are usually ripe with heavy stains from being perched directly against the dark leaves. However, this example has limited light marks, relegated exclusively to the reverse. Despite the cards bold color and solid image quality, there are two creases in and around Cobb’s head, plus a small area of paper loss, but these issues do not detract from Cobb’s overall likeness. A very strong card, prominently displayed in this SGC 20 FAIR 1.5 holder.
