The Hall of Fame center fielder Ken Griffey Jr. wore this navy and teal Seattle Mariners cap circa 1996, during the prime of his formidable career. The former number one overall pick was one of baseball’s most feared sluggers during the 1990’s, leading the American League in home runs during the decade and making every All-Star Game from 1990 through 2000. Griffey in 1996 after crushing 49 homers with 140 RBI and a .303 batting average. Griffey finished the 1996 season with 238 career home runs on his way to a spot in the lofty 600 home run club. Griffey retired in 2010 and was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2016, appearing on 99.3% of the ballots cast.
