Since Baseball Hall of Fame first baseman Cap Anson notched his 3,000th career hit on July 18, 1897, 31 more players have reached the 3,000-hit mark in MLB history. Of these, 17 were right-handed batters, 13 were left-handed, and two were switch hitters, meaning they could bat from either side of the plate. Six players—Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Rafael Palmeiro, Albert Pujols and Alex Rodriguez—are also members of the 500-home run club. 

Offered is a lot of 14 single-signed baseballs with the signatures of members of the 3,000-hit club, including Derek Jeter and Pete Rose, as well as Baseball Hall of Famers Wade Boggs, Rod Carew, Al Kaline, Rickey Henderson, Paul Molitor, Carl Yastrzemski, George Brett,  Dave Winfield, Lou Brock, Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn. The first item in this lot is a Derek Jeter signature on an OAL/Budig baseball. Jeter has signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot.  This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (B22073). The second item in this lot is a Rickey Henderson signature on an OAL/Brown baseball. The Baseball Hall of Famer has signed his name in blue pen on the sweet spot. The third item in this lot is a Paul Molitor signature in black pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Brown baseball. The fourth item in this lot is a Cal Ripken Jr. signature in black pen to the left of the sweet spot on a Ripken commemorative OAL/Budig baseball. The Hall of Fame shortstop/third baseman has signed his name below the black “2130 Ripken 2131 Orioles 8” stamp on the baseball, commemorating his consecutive game record set September 6, 1995.. The fifth item in this lot is a George Brett signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Brown baseball. This item comes with a STICKER ONLY from PSA/DNA (A92070).

The sixth item in this lot is a Lou Brock signature and inscription on the sweet spot of an ONL/White baseball. Brock has signed his name in blue pen and inscribed “3023” below his signature.  The seventh item in this lot is a Tony Gwynn signature and inscription on the sweet spot of a Rawlings Official League baseball. The Hall of Fame right fielder has signed his name in blue pen and inscribed “3,141” below his signature.

The eighth item in this lot is a Dave Winfield signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Brown baseball. The ninth item in this lot is a Wade Boggs signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Budig baseball. The 10th item in this lot is a Pete Rose signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an ONL/Coleman baseball.

The 11th item in this lot is an Al Kaline signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Budig baseball. The 12th item in this lot is a Carl Yastrzemski signature in blue pen on the sweet spot of an OAL/Brown baseball. The 13th item in this lot is a Pete Rose signature and inscription on an OML/Manfred baseball. Baseball’s all-time career hits leader (4,256) has signed his name in blue pen to the left of the OML/Manfred stamp, and inscribed “Larry, A Great Fan” and “#4256” with his signature.
