Presented is a collection of 14 Topps Baseball card inserts, autographed postcards and photos, and other sports cards, featuring Muhammad Ali, Willie Mays, Mickey Mantle, Ted Williams and more. The collection includes a Waite Hoyt signature and inscription on a 3 x 5-inch black & white photograph of the Hall of Fame pitcher standing in his New York Yankees uniform. Hoyt has signed his name “Waite C. Hoyt” in blue marker and inscribed “1928” on the photo. The back of the photo has an inscription in blue pen, “With Yankees in Spring Training at St. Pete., Florida in 1929 Pic taken at old Waterfront Park.” The second item in this collection is a Sandy Koufax signature on a 3½ x 5½ -inch color postcard of the lefthander’s plaque in the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Koufax has signed his name in blue pen across the top of the postcard over his plaque. The third item in this collection is a Frank Robinson signature on a limited-edition Perez-Steele Galleries color portrait postcard of the Hall of Fame player in his Baltimore Orioles uniform. Robinson has signed his name in blue marker on the front of the 3 ½ x 5 ½ postcard. The card is stamped on the back “05236/10,000” in brown ink.

The fourth item in this collection is limited edition Donruss baseball card insert honoring Hall of Famer Ted Williams, with a piece of jersey cut from an authentic Williams game-worn Boston Red Sox jersey. The 2 ½ x 3 ½ -inch card has a black & white action photo of Williams on the front with the title “Red Hot” in red and silver printing. The back of the card is stamped in silver, “07/25”. The fifth item in this collection is a limited edition 2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball combo card, featuring the signatures and game-used relics of Baseball Hall of Fame pitchers Bob Gibson, Tom Seaver and Steve Carlton. The three pitching aces have signed the front of the card in blue marker – the card is labeled on the front “C Y A” for the Cy Young Award, and Gibson has signed alongside the “C,” Seaver alongside the “Y” and Carlton alongside the “A.”  The letters hold game-used cloth pieces from each player in display on the front. This card is stamped “17/36” on the back, alongside a HOLO STICKER ONLY from Topps (7375868). The sixth item in this collection is a limited edition 2008 Topps Triple Threads Baseball combo card, featuring game-used relics of former Major League Baseball Most Valuable Player Award winners Mickey Mantle, Alex Rodriguez and Ted Williams. The front of the card features color head & shoulder photos of the three sluggers over cut letters indicating how many times the player was the MVP – Mantle (3), Rodriguez (3) and Williams (2). Mantle’s relic is a piece of his uniform, while Rodriguez and Williams both feature pieces of a bat. This card is stamped “10/18” on the front in silver ink.

The seventh item in this collection is an Upper Deck “Sweet Spot Classic” celebrating former Brooklyn Dodgers star infielder Jackie Robinson.  The front of the card features a black and white posed action photograph of Robinson in his Dodgers uniform, while below the photo is embedded a game-used piece of a jersey worn by Robinson in a Brooklyn Dodgers game. The eighth item in this collection is a 1983 Los Angeles Olympic Committee “Greatest Olympians” trading card signed by former Olympic Boxing Gold Medalist Muhammad Ali. Ali has signed his name in blue marker on the front of the card, which has a color photograph of Ali after he won the gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. The ninth item in this collection is a World Class Athletes trading card signed by former three-time heavyweight champion of the world Muhammad Ali. Ali has signed his name on the front of the card in blue marker, below a color action photograph of the champion in mid-fight. This card bears the logo “Classic” in the upper right front corner.

The 10th item in this collection is a Bobby “The Brain” Heenan signature and inscription on the front of a Topps WWE Heritage trading card. The pro wrestler has signed and inscribed “Bobby the Brain Heenan” in blue marker across the front of the card, which features at television set design with a color photograph of Heenan in the center. The card is labelled on the back “WWE Heritage Authentic Autograph.” The 11th item in this collection is a Topps baseball card circa 1958, with a color photograph of Milwaukee Braves sluggers Del Crandall, Ed Matthews, Hank Aaron and Joe Adcock captioned “Braves’ Fence Buster.” The red and black printing on gray cardstock back of the card has a short paragraph about the four Braves players. The 12th item in this collection is a Topps baseball trading card circa 1955, with a color photograph of Hank Aaron in his Milwaukee Braves uniform with a border designed to look like a “Color TV” set. The back of the card is gray with orange and black printing, with a caption noting that “1954 was only Hank’s third season in organized baseball, and his first in the majors.” The card has Aaron’s 1954 statistics alongside the one-paragraph description. The 13th item in this collection is a Topps baseball card circa 1959, with a color head & shoulder photograph of Hank Aaron in his Milwaukee Braves uniform with a yellow background and red and black type. The back of the card is red and green printed on white, with the caption “In the early part of the ’58 season it looked like Hank was heading for a poor year…” The 14th item in this collection is a Topps baseball trading card circa 1957 with a color posed photo of Mickey Mantle swinging a bat in his New York Yankees uniform. The back of the card has red and blue printing on gray cardstock, with a caption that begins “Mickey picked up all the A.L. Batting titles last year.” This entire lot has been pre-certified by Beckett Authentication.
