After 20 years and the relocation of the Braves, Milwaukee was once again the hosts for the Major League All-Star Game. 1975 saw baseball’s best players converge on Milwaukee’s County Stadium as the Brewers, who had relocated from Seattle back in 1970, were now the hosts. The 46th All-Star Game saw the National League defeat the American League 6-3 thanks to the co-MVP performances of Bill Madlock of the Cubs and Jon Matlack of the Mets. Offered here is a 12 x 18-inch wooden sign that hung in County Stadium was designed with the official 1975 All-Star Game logo. The logo are two combined circles merged together with the left side in yellow with “ALL STAR GAME 1975 and three stars in black. The right circle, which is overlapped by the yellow circle, is in black with yellow borders showing a baseball player and “MILWAUKEE” in yellow. The sign is in good overall condition with some staining on the left side of the sign, edge wear and other marks. There is remnants of glue or some other kind of adhesive on the back. A great piece of baseball history, celebrating baseball’s return to Milwaukee.
