2019 NBA Draft first overall pick Zion Williamson wore this Spartanburg Day School Griffins basketball team pullover during his now-legendary high school basketball career. Williamson exploded as a prospect late in the recruiting cycle, dunking on any high schooler foolish enough to get between the 6’7”, 285-pound Williamson and the hoop. Williamson averaged 36.4 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, earning a spot in the 2018 McDonald’s All-America Game and committing to play basketball at Duke University. After a flash-bang college season, Williamson was selected first overall by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2019 NBA Draft. As the most heavily scrutinized prospect since LeBron James, the basketball world waits on bated breath for Williamson’s madly-anticipated NBA debut.
This offered Spartanburg pullover is red, with gray accents, short sleeves, and a gray and red hood. Printed on the chest in white is a griffin and “Griffin Basketball”. Printed on the back in white text is “Be In The Game”. The Pull Over warm up shirt comes with a signed letter of provenance from a source very close to Zion and the Williamson Family and we were specifically presented the item as being worn on Mother's appreciation night as well as most of, if not all of his senior year. This pullover is a historic piece of memorabilia from the earliest parts of Zion Williamson’s limitless career. A letter of authentication from 100% Authentic will also accompany.
