Despite winning 95 games during the regular season, the 1960 Pittsburgh Pirates were severe underdogs to the mighty New York Yankees. But the Bucs provided the biggest upset in World Series history when they beat the powerful Yankees in seven games. They were completely dismantled during their three losses, losing each game by at least 10 runs! But, the Pirates managed to win three close games before Hall of Famer Bill Mazeroski hit one of the most memorable home runs in World Series history, hitting a game-winning walk-off home run in Game 7 to win the title for Pittsburgh.

32 members of the 1960 World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates have signed this “Pittsburgh Pirates” stamped ball. Signatures include Hall of Famers Roberto Clemente and Bill Mazeroski, with other signatures that include Bill Virdon, Smokey Burgess, Don Hoak, Harvey Haddix, Clem Labine, Fred Green, Diomedes Olivo, Frank Oceak, Rocky Nelson, Dick Schofield, Roy Face, Joe Christopher and several others. This ball comes with a LOA from JSA (BB34341). Please note that JSA has deemed the signatures of Bob Skinner, Dick Groat and Danny Murtaugh clubhouse versions.
