Among the top prospects on a resurgent New York Mets Pitching staff, 23-year-old right hander Zack Wheeler wore these PSA/DNA pre-certified, black, white and gray, size 14 Under-Armour Cleats during his rise through the Mets minor league system in 2012. Wheeler went 10-6 with a 3.26 ERA with 117 strikeouts in 116 innings at AA Binghamton and was 2-2 with a 3.27 ERA with 31 in 33 innings at AAA Buffalo. Wheeler made his big league debut with the Mets at Atlanta on June 18, 2013 earning throwing six scoreless innings with seven strikeouts to earn his first victory. Wheeler signed one of these cleats in bold black Sharpie on the left gray toe with a “2012 Game Used,” inscription the same way on the black right toe with a bright silver Sharpie.
