Willie Randolph was a standout player for the New York Yankees. A member of the 1977 and 1978 World Series-winning teams, Randolph was a steady presence at second base and at the plate. Randolph finished his career with 2,210 hits. Randolph was traded to the Oakland A’s by the Dodgers during the 1990 season.
Randolph wore this dark green zipper-front Oakland Athletics’ warmup jacket during the 1990 season. This jacket was manufactured by Starter of New Haven, CT and features “A’s” sewn on the upper left chest in white stitching on yellow felt. The front of this jacket has two pockets (one of the pockets still has sunflower seeds) and the collar and sleeve ends have a ribbed material with green, white and yellow striping. The back of this size L jacket has “RANDOLPH” embroidered in white with yellow boarder stitching. Randolph signed his name in black marker below the “A’s” on the front of this jacket and has inscribed “Game Used AL CHAMPS”. This item derives from the collection of Willie Randolph and a signed LOA from Willie Randolph will accompany this item.
