In his second NBA season after being drafted 3rd overall by the Denver Nuggets in the 2003 out of Syracuse University, shooting forward Carmelo Anthony started 75 games but had yet to earn the first of his six All-Star selections.
Now a New York Knick, Anthony vertically signed the “1” of his number “15” on the back of the jersey in black Sharpie (grade 8 – 9). The white home jersey has “NUGGETS” and “15” stitched across the front in Denver blue, trimmed in gold. “ANTHONY” is stitched to jersey in textured blue letters. The Reebok cloth tag stitched to the lower left waistband bears the NBA logo, “DN” initials, the Reebok logo and place to write in the player’s name and “#”. Ancillary cloth tags stitched alongside the Reebok tag include the year tag “2004 – 2005,” “4” L.B.” tag and “52” size tag. The NBA logo is affixed to the left shoulder strap. The jersey and signature come with COAs for authenticity from Steiner Sports Collectibles and Denver Nuggets.
