This bat dates to Eddie Murray’s last season in the majors. The Hall of Famer added the last round trippers to his career total of 504 in 1997 and ranks just second to Mickey Mantle as the best switch hitter to ever play the game. Eddie’s 1997 Louisville Slugger M275L model bat shows great game use with a cracked handle. The barrel shows many ball marks with white leather ball scuffs, ink transfers and bat rack paint streaks. There are cleat imprints throughout, and the handle has a moderate coat of pine tar. Murray’s number “33” is drawn on the knob in black and white marker and the Hall of Famer has signed the barrel in black marker, adding “HOF 2005.” This bat comes with a signed LOA from Eddie Murray for the game use and signature.
