Satchel Paige was the greatest Negro League pitcher of all time, and those who saw Paige throw (and many who tried to hit against him), view Paige as the greatest pitcher ever. Unfortunately, he did not have access to Major League hitters until 1948, when he was 42! This MacGregor Official Little League ball has “Satch Paige” neatly penned just below the manufacturers name. The ball itself is creamy toned with some light areas of spotting and two panels with the remnants of red ink. Neither of those two panels affects the display of the Paige signature.
