Hall of Famer Randy Johnson was the starting pitcher in the 1995 All-Star Game held at The Ballpark in Arlington on July 11th, 1995. Johnson pitched two dominant innings, striking out Barry Bonds, Fred McGriff and Ron Gant, only allowing a leadoff walk to Lenny Dykstra – who was caught stealing during Bonds’ at-bat. Johnson’s All-Star Game performance was a precursor for the rest of the season as “The Big Unit” led Seattle to their first ever playoff appearance and earned the American League Cy Young Award.

This offered Seattle Mariners home jersey was worn by Randy Johnson during the 1995 Mid-Summer Classic and has been conclusively photo matched by Resolution Photomatching to the game. Johnson’s size 50 Russell Athletic button-down jersey has “MARINERS sewn on across the front in navy, teal and silver tackle twill. Navy piping runs around the collar and down both sides of the buttons. The Russell size 50 Diamond Collection and “95” tags are sewn on the bottom of the front left tail. The right sleeve has the 1995 TEXAS RANGERS ALL*STAR GAME 1995 logo patch sewn on above the embroidered Russell Athletic logo. The left sleeve has the circular SEATTLE MARINERS’ logo patch.

The back of the jersey has “JOHNSON” sewn on in navy and teal tackle twill on a matching white nameplate. Johnson’s number “51” is sewn on in navy and teal tackle twill below the nameplate. This jersey displays light to moderate use with some stains present. Johnson has signed his name in black marker above the “AR” on the front of the jersey and inscribed “#51”. This jersey has been conclusively photo matched to the 1995 All-Star Game by Resolution Photomatching and a LOA from JSA (Y80444) authenticates Johnson’s signature.
