The first item in this lot is a baseball inscribed “Detroit Tigers 1948” in black pen with 28 signatures in black pen, notably including Hall of Famers George Kell and Hal Newhouser. The second item in this lot is a triple-signed Official American League Bobby Brown baseball signed in blue pen by Hall of Fame broadcaster Ernie Harwell on the sweet spot, Hall of Famer slugger Al Kaline below the sweet spot and Hall of Famer George Kell above the sweet spot. The third item in his lot is a baseball inscribed “Detroit Tigers 1951” in black and red pen, with the signatures of 29 players in blue pen, including Hall of Famer Hal Newhouser and Rick Ferrell on the sweet spot, as well as Charlie Keller, Don Kolloway, Bob Swift, Aaron Robinson and Vic Wertz, among others. The fourth item in this lot is a multi-signed baseball with 21 signatures in blue pen including George Kell, Willie Horton, Ned Garver, Charlie Kress and Walt Dropo, among others. The fifth item in this lot is a multi-signed Official American League Lee Mac Phail baseball with 25 signatures in blue pen, including Hall of Famer Al Kaline on the sweet spot, Willie Horton, Ralph Houk, Gates Brown and Aurelio Rodriguez.
