Offered is an Ernie Lombardi signature and inscription in black pen on a MacGregor Ralph Kiner League baseball. Lombardi has inscribed “Best of Luck from Ernie Lombardi” on the sweet spot, and inscribed “1954” above the sweet spot in blue pen. He played in Major League Baseball as a catcher for the Brooklyn Robins, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Braves, and New York Giants during a career that spanned 17 years, from 1931 through 1947. Lombardi was an All-Star for seven seasons, and he hit over .300 for 10 seasons. He finished his Major League career with a .306 batting average. This item comes with a full LOA from PSA/DNA (M86803).
