Long before he was the “Big Shamrock,” the “Big Cactus/Shaqtus,” “Shaq Diesel” or the “Big Aristotle;” Shaquille O’Neal was simply known by his rhythmic given name, when he was named the NCAA’s men’s basketball player of the year in 1991 and drafted number one overall by the Miami Heat in 1992. “Shaq Daddy” wore this size 52 Orlando Magic home mesh jersey during his sensational 1992-1993 Rookie of the Year season in which he averaged 23.4 points-per-game on 56.2% shooting, 13.9 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team and was the first rookie voted to the All-Star starting team since Michael Jordan in 1985. The “Magic” word logo with a silver star patch in place of the letter A is printed on the front of the jersey in blue and black letters with another silver star patch dotting the I and contains Shaq’s number 32 in black on blue tackle twill on the front and back of the jersey with his name “O’Neal” above the number on the back, a small NBA logo patch is on the upper left front.
