In 1964, Yogi Berra took the reins of the New York Yankees for the first time, leading a power-packed Yankees squad to yet another American League pennant. The Yanks won 99 games, finishing one game ahead of the Chicago White Sox to set up a World Series matchup against the St. Louis Cardinals. Unfortunately for the Yankees, Bob Gibson kept their bats in check as the Cardinals fought to a seven game World Series victory.

28 members of the 1964 American League Champion New York Yankees have signed this Official American League Joseph E. Cronin baseball. Hall of Famers Yogi Berra signed his name on the sweet spot in blue pen, along with a clubhouse sigunature of Mickey Mantle. Other signatures include Hall of Famer Whitey Ford, Roger Maris (clubhouse), Hector Lopez, Clete Boyer, Pedro Gonzalez, Pete Mikkelsen, Archie Moore, Bud Daley, Bob Meyer, Elston Howard, Jim Gleeson, Tom Tresh, Tony Kubek, Bobby Richardson, Jim Bouton and several others. This ball displays minor toning and some stains on the stamped sweet spot. This ball comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication.
