Offered is a Leroy Neiman signature on a limited-edition artist proof serigraph print of his painting of Boston Red Sox legend Ted Williams. Neiman has signed his name in gray graphite in the lower right margin of the unframed 27 x 34-inch print on white paper. The print is inscribed “A.P. 28/50” in gray graphite in the lower left margin. The painting, entitled “The Splendid Splinter,” depicts the Hall of Famer at the end of his swing in a white Boston uniform, with a catcher in full gear behind him, and the Fenway Park stands filled with fans in the background, above the dugout. The colorful image was painted by Neiman in 1991. This item comes with a LOA from Steve Grad of Beckett Authentication (A25430).
