Andruw Jones was known as a fearsome hitter during his years with the Atlanta Braves, but he was as skilled with his glove as well as his bat. Patrolling center field for the Braves, Jones won 10 straight Gold Glove Awards from 1998-2007, awarded annually to the finest fielders at each position. Only two players, Roberto Clemente and Willie Mays, have won the award more often in the outfield.

This exceptional piece, Jones’s 2004 Rawlings Gold Glove Award, comes mounted with a Gold Rawlings right-handed glove, fronted by a gold-plate bearing the image of Andrew Jones. There are three golden bats on either side of the glove, both topped by a Gold Rawlings baseball. It also includes a plaque across the bottom that reads “2004 RAWLINGS GOLD GLOVE AWARD, Presented to ANDRUW JONES, Honoring His Selection As ‘THE FINEST IN THE FIELD!” Please note that three of the golden bats have been broken off at the edges. The broken pieces are with the award and will accompany this item. Jones has signed his name in black marker on the underside of the wood base and inscribed “My 2004 Gold Glove!” and “1-31-17”. This award comes with a letter of Authenticity, personally signed by Andruw Jones.
