This certified $1000 note is from the Chicago district and sports a portrait of President Grover Cleveland. Discontinued in 1945, $1000 notes are exceedingly rare today as they were used mostly for transactions between banks or large institutions and not for general circulation. The note shows good use with some staining to both vertical
sides and the back. PCGS has graded this note a Very Fine 30 and is genuine U.S. Legal Tender.
