Offered is a Joe Montana signature and inscription on a limited edition giclee print of a Stephen Holland portrait of the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback on a stretched canvas. The Hall of Fame QB has signed his name in silver paint pen, and inscribed “4X SB Champ 3X SB MVP HOF 2000” below his signature on the canvas, titled “Joe Montana Super Bowl XVI”, which depicts Montana in his 49ers white uniform, helmet on, both arms upraised with both hands signaling “number one”.  The colorful image has a multi-colored background that effectively offsets the gold, white, and red San Francisco uniform worn by Montana. The artist, Stephen Holland, has signed the 23 x 42-inch canvas in silver paint pen in the lower left corner, and inscribed “SP 10/16” below his signature. This limited-edition print was produced in 2003 with a total edition of 49, of which there were 18 Artist Proof, Superbowl Proof XVI, Special Proof 16 and Printer’s Proof 10. This item is from the Special Proof. As a member of the San Francisco 49ers, Montana started and won four Super Bowls (XVI, XIX, XXIII, XXIV) and was the first player ever to have been named Super Bowl MVP three times. This item comes with a LOA from Beckett Authentication, which has graded the item GEM MINT 10.
