Under head coach Travis Ford, the Oklahoma State Cowboys men’s basketball team had one of the top scoring offenses during the 2008-2009 season, ranking 7th in the nation in points per game. James Anderson led the Cowboys, averaging 18.2 points per game. Oklahoma State finished the season with an overall record of 23-12, including making it to the semifinal of the Big 12 Conference tournament. After a victory over Tennessee in the NCAA Tournament, the Cowboys concluded their season with a loss to number one-ranked Pittsburgh.
Offered here is a Jostens-manufactured 2009 Oklahoma State men’s basketball Big 12 conference ring, featuring an enamel “OSU” logo – set on an image of a basketball – surrounded by a bed of CZs. “NCAA 2009” as well as additional CZs are displayed around the perimeter. A team logo centers one side of the ring, with “COWBOYS” at the top and “23-12” at the bottom. The opposite side features a Big 12 Conference logo, with the name “KIRKLAND” appearing above and “44” below. The manufacturer mark and “LTM” are displayed inside the band, along with an engraving of the name “Malcoln Kirkland”. This ring is an approximate size 14 and weighs approximately 30.3 grams. This ring comes with a LOA from PSA/DNA (AF09617) for its authenticity.
